Hi! I am new too. I would have never thought of breeding and raising quail. Do you keep them in with your chickens? We have a large population of wild quail here that our chickens delight on chasing when they invade the chickens’ free range space. It is rather comical to watch actually.

I don’t keep chicken and Quail together as the chickens would probably kill the Quail, if they don’t the crows would, I have cages for my Quails but would build an aviary if I manage to get Mountain Quail eggs.
