hey there, my name is Brandon and I live in east Texas. My wife and I are new to chickens but are learning as we go and I’ve found this site to be very helpful when I do searches so I see no reason not to join and learn more. We have 17 chickens with 11 RIR hens, one black silkie, two Plymouth Rock hens, and a frizzle hen that has 2 babies that we don’t know what sex they are (but hope y’all can help with that). I’m a police officer and enjoy helping people as well!

Welcome, and great to have you aboard. You will find everything you ever want to know about chickens here. The 'search' button at top of the screen will help you find specific information, and you can post your own questions or responses whenever you like.

This forum is the best for sexing bird, best done at 7 or more weeks: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/what-breed-or-gender-is-this.15/
