I'm from NE Texas. I don't have any animals. It was recommended by a friend that I needed to get some guineas. I haven't a clue how to get started. I found this site, so I thought I would give it a try.

Theyre good for tics and bugs, they are some of the craziest and most skittish bird Ive been around haha. Welcome

I've heard guineas are pretty good guard birds. They'll alert you if anyone comes around!
You could try reading some posts to see what others have to say about them in the guinea fowl section or even start another thread over there to ask specific questions.
