Hi everyone. My name is Kathy ( kstande ). Just got my chicks in March, 10 of them. I should have written down the breeds I knew I would forget. I'll figure it out later. I'm In Indianapolis Indiana. We are starting to warm a little. I carried them out to the coop on Sat which was a gorgeous day and took them back in that evening. Did the same today but I think I am going to leave them out. I am newly retired. Have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Also purchased my own home last Sept and that was another reason for getting my birds. I am an animal lover. I presently am down to 1 dog, a boxer named Gunner and 2 cats, Max and nature cat. Nature cat I brought with me when I moved from downtown Indy last year. She was a feral cat but wasn't at all afraid of me and she never left my porch so I couldn't leave her behind. Just never came up with a name for her. Also call her kitty cat. Anyway I am a simple person just love puttering around my house and working in the yard and garden. And can't wait for my fresh eggs.
