Hello All,
I am new to chickens...I was given 10 tiny hatchlings in May. I now understand how much you can really love and enjoy chickens! I guess I have 3 roosters and 7 hens. Mine are "Mutts" I have been told. lol Always did love pound puppies. Getting ready to build a large coop and run, where is the best place to get free plans with measurements? If I leave it to Mr. I will have a coop the size of a small house.

Welcome to the family... I resemble that remark about the hubby... as the coop palace has reached well over $3000 but needless to say you should just design & build your own... make it unique to you and your flock will appreciate it no matter what... personal touches mean everything. Let the poor man build...it’s in our dna . Good luck and send pics
