Hi I have a rooster I saved. I found him in the parking lot at work she's a bantam I don't know what type. I got some hens for him to hang out with but it's made him aggressive and he keeps attacking me and drawing blood. I was able to get him really small modern bantam and 2 other hens . the modern is sitting on eggs and they're all viable so we should have chicks the end of the week...pretty excited.
I think I have to get rid of the rooster. I feel pretty bad about it but I can't go near the chickens or the coop without getting attacked. So anyway, I guess I have one modern bantam splash and a silkie that turned out to be a rooster and a barred Rock Cochin that's supposed to be bantam but I don't think she is.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
The aggression started as he has claimed the pullets for his own and considers you a threat to his reign. If you can't work with him, you should rehome him.
You can post pictures of your unknown breeds in the Breed & Gender Forum for help.

Enjoy the new flock!

Can you move him to a dog kennel for a couple of days and then return him? That might break the aggression
