(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am new to birds and have ducklings. I adopted them about 7 weeks ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 3 ducklings. I did have 4, but one passed away this morning

(3) What breeds do you have?

We believe they are Pekin.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

I'm just a huge animal lover and we, recently, purchased our first home which allowed me to have my ducks.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Momming

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have 4 children, two are biological and two bonus. One of the bonus children lives with his Dad, our two boys, and myself. We have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and our 3 ducklings. I am a stay at home Mom to all of the critters.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I stumbled upon BYC by doing a Google search on duck treats. I decided to join, this morning, because one of ducks passed away and I was looking for potential reasons why.

I've included a picture of our flock. The smallest one is the one who passed away
