Hi Everyone,
I just joined the site. I do not currently have any chickens but I do have a coop. I'm getting chickens in Feb/Mar 2020. I have been reading many of the posts and thought this site will be a good asset to have when I start raising chickens. I am in Rising Sun/Elkton Maryland area. I have already learned so much from just reading the posts.

Jump right in and make yourself at home.

What breed/s do you plan on getting?

This video will help you learn how to navigate this site:

Chicken Coops.

What exactly did you Google to get here? <<<<<<<<<<<

BYC has an APP!
Thanks for the video KiKi. I was trying to figure out how to navigate the site. I found the site from reading a book on raising chickens. I haven't decided on what kind of chickens yet; however I do like the Wyandotte's. They are beautiful.

What book, if you don't mind me asking?

Welcome to BYC from Macon County Missouri :frow Glad you joined our flock.

Be aware that having joined you have been exposed to that well known chicken disease, chicken math-itis. From this time forward you will be consumed with the incurable urge to add birds to your flock. Chickens today, then more chicks, then the disease will spread and you will find yourself craving ducks and geese. From there you will want quail.;)

The good news is, everyone here is also infected and we will not only enable but highly support your affliction!:clap

So sit back, relax and enjoy! You are among friends!:hugs
