Hi all my name is Art, (aka Fuax), Came to this sight for some ideas on a coup as a gift for my wife. Well your posts were very helpful and I built a small coup for her to start with as an anniversary gift. She loves it and now we have 3 hens.

What have I gotten myself into!! lol

Welcome Fuax,
I started building my coop 2 years ago and kept putting off finishing it. I finally did finish it this past spring and we ordered 4 babies from a local farm/feed store. It has turned out to be one of the coolest and funist things we have done in a long time. Watching the chicks grow into adults and now getting eggs from them makes me kick myself for waiting so long to do it. I hope you guys enjoy yours as much as we do ours.

I don't like the fractions. I think that means loss. But, Fuax has a coop that should do a good job of protecting the girls.
