I have this same problem out of my drake. It's really bad this time of year because they are starting to mate pretty heavily. During the day when they free range the chickens usually just avoid him, but when it is time to be penned for the night, I have to have separate pens for ducks and chickens.
Also, the benefits won't outweigh the risks in having your drake fixed. I don't think vets are willing to do it, and I certainly don't advise anyone to try it themselves.
I know was a thought in the dark! So I’d probably need at least two females huh?? Ohfhta thanks
 
Yes I have them in separate pen at night but had been letting them free range together until I noticed my ducks chasing my hens ! Silly boys!

You'll want 5-10 ducks for each drake
oh wow I’ll have to find a home for them & just get ladies! Mmmm my intent was just one of each ! Oh well thanks so much for all the replies
