My daughter and me are new to using a incubator for hatching, we are using the Little Giant with the self turner

I use a still air LG but I don't hand turn.

Hi we are hatching layer chicks, we started with 27 but then only 4 ended up being fertile, so 3 hatched 4th one didn't make it
