We so think it could be a boy but I have read it depends in the breed. Hoping it's not I believe I'm here where I live Rooster are not allowed

Hello everyone my name is Stephanie,
I currently have two chicks that are about 6 weeks old we adopted them from my son classroom. We are very new to this unfortunately we do not know the breed of our chicks hope someone will help us and guide me and my family to raise happy backyard chickens with two dogs.

Thinking they might both be Ameracuana as they have more characteristic like that breed or Easter eggers
