I've had chickens off and on since I was 7.
At the moment I have 8 chickens, 4 adults , 4 chicks. In the past I have also had ducks, geese, and goats.
I have a lot of different breeds right now. In the adult pen are an Americauna, an Australorp, a Polish, and a Leghorn. Once the babies are grown they will be put in a different coop there are two lakenvelder, a cochin, and a silkie
I really like watching chickens foraging: it's relaxing.
I like baking and gardening which works pretty well with chickens.
I've started studying for a degree in plant breeding. Watermelon are some of my favorite plants when it comes to cultivars.
