Hi there!

Just to say hello and thanks in avance for your figure help, advice and patience with my limited knowledge of english.

I felt in love with my Indian Runner Ducks (I've got 3, 2 female and a drake) and soon I decided to incubate some eggs to have some more and there I am. Learning to be ready for anything that may happen during hatching.

At the moment, I'm worried about opening the incubator's lid in case I need to assist (I've red the Guide to Assisted Hatching) and losing the humidity. As I've red is very very important in the last 72h. Aldo, not sure about the temperatura on those last days.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens your English came out fine .. last few days it is like 38C
right.. Pop it to 36C last couple days only for lock down this is not a must...

Welcome, It's so great to have you here!

Nice breed pick, Runner's are by far one of my favorite breeds. Opening the lid during lockdown isn't much of a problem, I open quite frequently during the last three days to help assist my Calls out of their shell, to get the humidity back up after opening the incubator I will either use a wet cloth or a moist sponge.

The temperature will depend on what kind of incubator you are using, is your incubator a forced-air or still air?
