Hi I'm from Wisconsin. Husband brought home chickens 11 weeks ago. I'm driving him crazy with my worrying about keeping them safe and healthy...lol. I've done poop inspection daily and body checks weekly. My chickens seem to tolerate me just fine. Hubby brought home 5 baby ducks about a month ago 
, cuz they were the cutest things he ever saw. 
Suspicious little buggers. They are a joy, but man they make me work for their trust. So, all this is new to me. I'm a nurse, used to be a couch potatoe on my off days. Now I'm a chicken/duck run potatoe, all days. 
We put in a big garden as well. So big changes here. I've been looking at some of the threads, my questions/worries appear to be right on target with other new flock mommies. This is a wonderful community. I'm not the greatest with computers, so I guess I'll be bumbling my way through this as well. Hehe.
