My name is Enock. Am based in Lilongwe, Malawi. Malawi is in Southern Africa and shares boundaries with Zambia, Mozambique and Tanzania. I started rearing backyard chickens some time back, but got hooked when new breeds were introduced in Uganda, these are Kuroilers and Sasso. Currently am raising about 150 chickens within my backyard. I have 64 Sasso , 40 kuroilers, 39 black Australorps. I have just started raising 7 brahma chicks.
Raising chicks is my past time hobby since my college days at college where i studied animal science but did not go into farming. I concentrated in working on projects.
I have a little family of three children who are also interested in raising chickens. Apart from keeping chickens, I have a Germany Sheppard dog, Shaddy.
I came across BYC through google when I was searching for poultry production - Incubators
