Hi everyone. Sandra Creamer here. I live in southern Texas on the coast about 50 miles from Houston. I have had chickens for about three years now and I have 12 adult hens, 1 adult rooster, 3 hens about 3 months old and 1 rooster about 3 months old. They are mixed breeds. Hoover Hatchery calls them Rainbow Chickens as they have different feather combinations and are completely different from each other. My adult rooster I bought at my local feed store, and I think he is a mix breed as well.
My other interest are, sewing, knitting, crocheting and just about anything that can be done with a needle and thread. In fact I found a free chicken saddle pattern on the net, and made some for my hens. I found and came to this site, as the other site I was going to one of the administrators archived it and you can only read post. Don't even know why they did this.
