Hello. 6 years ago I volunteered for a year at a historic farm before finally getting my own chickens. I have 5 chickens now, only one (Katrina the Americana) from the first group of four, and four new ones now a year old. I still volunteer because it’s fun and because I learn so much. BYC is always the first place I go, if I can’t ask the park ranger, for chicken questions. So when I was faced 4 days ago with evacuation from the CZU fire, I looked at BYC.
