(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my very first chic's June 30
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Three
(3) What breeds do you have?
Plymouth Barred Rocks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are very entertaining to watch. It nice to be able to raise them from babies and watch their development.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, cooking, gardening, some times crafting jewelry or painting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm from cental Alberta and it gets pretty darn cold!
2 cats, 1 dog - whom the chickens find fasinating. My 16 yr old son enjoys the chickens too
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
The internet - for about 3 months. Since I am new to rasiing chickens I have a lot of questions and need guidence
