Hello everyone!
This is my third round with chickens. My parents passed away and I am living on their farm taking care of their cows.
As of this writing we have about 18 chickens and 6 guineas(hatched from eggs). Several were given to us, some were bought from a man who was moving and the rest we raised from chicks ordered from TS.
Of the breeds we know are: Buff orps, Lavendar Orps, Barred Rocks, Astrolorps and mutts.
I love how they all have their own personalities. Some want to be held and petted and some just would rather you didn’t.
My partner and I are raising our 5 kids(19yo daughter, 16 yo son, and 3 15 yo sons). We have 4 dogs, 2 rescued African Geese(one has damaged wings and one is blind in one eye and has a messed up beak,), 2 horses(one has moon blindness)and about 70 head of cattle to go along with our chickens.
