Good Evening, My name is Peg and I am from Georgia. I have had chickens for 6 yrs now and currently have 23 hens and 3 roosters, plus we just added 6 Guinea Hens to the group. I got into chickens totally by accident when an Injured rooster showed up in my yard 6 yrs ago. After gaining his trust and getting him as healthy as a one eyed bird could be, I decided he needed friends. And thats how I got started. I also have 5 dogs and somewhere around 15 cats we care for. I say somewhere..because we have ones that are here on the property full time and some that come and go as they please from the stables next door..LOL.. My main goal is to learn things to help keep my flock healthy. Today we noticed one of the 2 week old chicks shaking and stumbling a bit. not too stable on his legs. his clutch mate appears just fine and his momma as well. Everything I am seeing and reading makes me think Vitamin Deficientcies...but have never had this happen before, so want to see what others may think.

Welcome to BYC, Peg! I'm no expert but you might go ahead and put some electrolytes in their water. What type of feed are you using?
Hi, thank you. Yes,bought electrolytes and probiotics this evening on the way home from work...gave some Via dropper and filled up a waterer with it as well. Hopefully, that helps.
