(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I moved from the city to 13 acres in December and started raising my own. Growing up my dad always had chickens and I had ducks.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
55 chicks that are ranging from 3 days -4 weeks
(3) What breeds do you have?
dampierre, Deathlayer, bielefelder, Ayman Cemani, Maylay, Sanjak Longcrower,
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
being able to teach my daughter about responsibility and raising animals.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, Working on cars
 
Welcome to BYC! August 2020 was my first time having chics. We built a coop and run big enough to house dogs lol Have Rhode Island Reds, Rhode Island Whites and CocoMorans. I enjoy watching them! Great personality’s! And eggs!
