Hello, My name is Pamala from Gresham, Oregon. I am new to chickens which I never thought to own chickens. My daughter and I picked out 6 different chicks from the feed store. We have a Buttercup, Welsumer, Buckeye, Blue Plymouth Rock, Easter Egger and Wyandotte. Looking into making our own coop for them. The Easter egger is always following my 7 year old daughter around. I hope to learn and have fun with the chickens. I am also going to enjoy having fresh eggs. I would love to learn more about the heritage breeds since I breed and show dogs.
