(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I first got 4 chicks last year around mother's day. I've been handling them for a year now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 4 adults, 8 7-week olds, and 4 fresh babies.
(3) What breeds do you have? Bantam breeds- Silkie, Cochins, Ameraucana, Frizzle, d'Uccles, Sebright, Brahma, and two Guineas.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love their different personalities and color variations!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I LOVE to draw and paint.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I also have 4 dogs, 3 turtles, 2 guinea pigs, a horse, and a pony. I take art commissions as a side job!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found you guys while I was searching up questions about my chickens' behaviors! I figured I may aswell join since the internet itself can't always answer!
