Hi I am Gigi from Puerto Rico. Here, chickens roam the streets and yards wild. I had a mama bring her newly hatched peeps into my yard a few years ago and couldn't resist feeding them. Now I'm hooked! I have my "own" flock of 4 chickens. Last October, their mom left them in my yard at three days old - she appeared very sick, and after she left, she never came back, so my husband and I raised them. It has been so much fun! Anyway, I always one here when I have questions, so I thought I'd join.

So nice to meet you Gigi ,Welcome to BYC ! I saw some little chickens for sale on ebay last year and wanted the eggs but someone beat me to them . You might know what they are called I think it was something KiKiu I cant remember?
