Hi,
I’m a new member. We have 5 chickens. 3 black star and 2 calico princesses. We lost one of our chickens to an owl so I joined this community to learn more about raising chickens and keeping them safe from predators.

So sorry to hear you lost a bird to an owl. Predators are everywhere, definitely keep your birds in a protected run and when they are outside, provide lots of hidy spots to dive for cover. Welcome aboard!
