Hi, we are all new to chicken farming. We are in the Czech Republic . We currently have 35 chickens (Marans white and wheaten, Araucanas, Swedish flower, Cream legbar, Silkies and golden Czech hen). After selecting out the roos, my goal is 8-12 chickens. We want to have fresh own eggs and utilise food waste, which - sadly - is with three small children a lot... if things go well, maybe we'll also have some breed for meat.
I found out about BYC a couple of days ago, when searching for hints on how to sex the chickens of the breeds we have. Great community here and thanks in advance for your advices .
