Hi y'all!
I am a new member, just now, and am very happy to be here. My husband and I just retired from Massachusetts to southern Alabama and purchased a 9.5 acre farm. We had a 11.5 acre farm in Mass. We have dreamed for 30 years of moving down here and finally found the perfect forever spot.
Back in the north I raised many different livestock varieties and poultry. Down here I am starting with either Speckled Sussex or Golden-laced Wyandottes, not positive which yet, in a few weeks. We love watching the antics of chickens and of course love, love, love the fresh eggs. In the spring I would like to add some Nigerian Dwarf goat does and perhaps a miniature horse or donkey. All of our animals are pets and we care for them as such.
Please say Hello and if anyone is from southern Alabama I would love to hear from you.
So happy to be here!
In Love & Light,
Barb
