(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Rescued a chicken from my neighborhood, she had two chicks. She stayed in my backyard for about 6 weeks and left and the two chicks stayed. Rescued one more chicken from my neighborhood. Lost one too my neighbor's dog who does a hole under the fence, lost another to respiratory infection. The last chicken I rescued is still with me and undergoing treatment for dog attack -same neighbor.

Ginger is a Cinnamon Queen
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Very cool animals, first time I've had a relationship with a chicken and she's very sweet
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Developing my relationship with Jesus, pup mom of 3, singing/music, writing, tree hugger, animal lover, humanitarian, health & fitness, holistic medicine, studying mental/spiritual health, beach, plants, interested in learning more about homesteading
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Very excited to find a chicken community

Your site constantly comes up when I'm searching chicken things on Google, just realized that becoming a member was an option
