I’m a new member who lives in Guam. I raised a few feral chickens who were abandoned by their mothers about two years ago. About 6 months ago I got 3 barred rock chicks, one Rhode Island Red chick, and a buff Orpington chick. The Rhode Island and one barred rock ended up being roosters. I’m definitely enjoying being a chicken owner and look forward to the discussions and experience of others on the site.

Love your choice of breeds; my beginner four were a Buff Orp, Plymouth Barred Rock and Rhode Island Red (plus a Buttercup). All were well-mannered and lovely birds. Also, I admire you for taking in the feral babies.
