Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New to chickens and had 15 month old's for about 5 days now

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 5

(3) What breeds do you have? Hybrid (Red Sexlinks)

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? My kids can be involved and we get delicious eggs from happy chickens

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Work, run kids around, enjoy anything outside around the 28 acres, camp, fish, hunt, Dogs, 4H

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.I have 2 elementary kids. One is in 4H and shows pigs. We live on 28 acres in Texas. The hubbs and I both work outside of the hoome. I work in the ag industry and my husband is an engineer. We commute daily but we love coming home to peace n quiet of the country. We raise our own beef and enjoy teaching our kids about ag and raising happy animals and giving them a good clean life. We have 2 dogs, a lab mix and a German Shepard. We also have 2 outside cats! We recently added laying hens to our homestead.
Because we are relatively new to chickens we thought we would join and ask our questions here and learn from everyone!
