Hi! I’m Hexios (online at least) and am brand new to chickens. I have one, who hatched March 24. They did have two siblings, but they were late deaths. I included a picture! I have no idea what her breed is, I found her in an abandoned wild nest, or well, her egg. She’s kinda lonely here with no other chickens, so we’re planning on getting her a roomie!
My favorite aspect is the fact that these chickens bond to you, love you, and will be here with you for years to come. Also the fact that they’re chaotic little babies.
Some of my other hobbies are drawing, horseback riding, archery, etc. Everyone in my family is fond of the chicken, less so my stepdad, but she’s growing on him. I have 3 dogs, a rabbit, an iguana, 3 horses, and Trooper, my chicken! I found BYC while looking for chicken info after finding the clutch that Trooper came from! I finally joined because it would be nice to be able to ask questions and have personalized answers from people much smarter than me.
