I am victoria from SW Idaho.
I have raised chickens, but the last 2 years I have been raising Muskovy ducks. We let them free range. We do throw out old bread and a scoop of whole corn to them each day. They have shelter but don't chose to use it. They have nests in all kinds of places, a hatch usually has abt 12 babies with some unfertile eggs left in the nest. They are just starting to hatch right now and if I can muster up some nerve, perhaps I will process a few drakes this year. Any question, I am not an expert, but have gone through a couple winters with them.
