Hi! I’m Angie, and I’m new to having backyard chickens. I currently have 6 chickens, four of which I’ve had since the day they hatched (even witnessed a couple of them actually peck their way into this world)! Those four are 3 months old, and my two other little ones (Silkies) are about 7 weeks. I know for sure that one of my “older” ones (my big white one) is an Ameraucana, but I’m not 100% sure on the rest of them. Maybe you guys could help me out with that? I love my chickens very much! Unfortunately, based on a post that I made earlier, two of my big ones are males. 😢
I’m not allowed to have roosters within city limits, so I’ll have to give them up, which breaks my heart. I refuse to just send them off to be killed though, so I’ll have to be sure that they find homes where they can live out the rest of their lives happily. Below you’ll find pictures of all my chickie babies!
