People were buying it and using it willy nilly for unverified infections, so antibiotic resistant infections are becoming more common. It was pulled from non script use.
Had nothing to do with any president.
However, I think you can still get some from Jedds.com.
Unfortunately, feeding moldy bread is more likely to kill them than anything else, that's not how amoxicillan is made.
I am aware of the confusions and abuse. But an infection is just that and requires an antibiotic, not a vet or doctor for treatments (which jack up the ("we are the only one that can make it get well Bill$$ exponentially").
There are Many immediate needs and uses for amoxicillin for inflamed injuries and infections outweighs the argument and just.
I raise both-
A kennel of 7 dogs
Farm Flock of birds. Use to hatch and raise 1000+ at at time.
Was raised on a farm...since the 70s/
In addition- Fish benefit from the FishMox as well, Never needed the Ciphromax...
(Respectfully....I have personally witnessed/seen chickens eat baby copperhead snakes which are more concentrated poisonous the the adult. I don't believe a molded bread will kill them.
Heck... I have
accidentally even ate many PBJs and other sandwiches with molded bread (many times over the years.... brown bagging it!) and I am still alive 50 years later to attest and affirm such.
BTW... Nether the chickens nor I even had a convulsion, reaction nor fell over dead in regards to such.
Lastly... Guess what? When my bread sits around and I notice molded bread.... it does not go in the trash can... it goes to the birds most all of the time. Its not some wild spore growing in an
amazon rain forest cave.)
BUT!
When a dog/bird/other gets ripped by a wire fence, a mild but bad slash, bite, etc from broken glass or in a fight, attacked by various unknowns... We all know how to (or use to) have the ability help cure the
infection. But sometimes the extra internal Anti boost is needed and the last thing you want is loose half a paycheck and time off from duties/work (or the job itself) just to get a simple magic pill that use to be readily available (on the shelf) in storage Just for such ER ;ole instance without having to run to mommy or daddy for permission and a doctor$ note.
The fact that Amoxicillin has been around for a quite long time says it all! What resistant strain of an infection is there today that did not exist in the body before? An infection is not a
disease (which can build resistance and immune. An infection is just that, an inflammation within the system that the body which is and can normally fight off a certain degree of such (if not severe or overwhelming). Thus an extra boost or the stronger versions for the heightened cases, Ciphro, Penicillin, Magic-Cure All, etc.
Cattle Penicillin as well... but I think you can still get that OTC. I remember giving all of those in my younger days on the farm. The pink liquids, injections, etc...
Once to a female pregnant cow who was injured and the calf was aborted inside where it started to rot.
Another to a horse that cut its leg rather badly on a fence.
Many people have more common sense than accredited by the AMA / Vet.Org and other Gods and know how to use it (PROPERLY) without having to Beg.Ask and OVER PAY for permission by the (time consumption) roadblocks.
BTW... Thanks for the link... Most are still offered.... but (just like a retard eating poison candy) you still have to have to seek a Vet and get his permission first and pray to the Gods they are responsive... Most are after the VISIT or CONSUTATIONS $$$.00 and your credit card number, expiration date and pin.
