One of my year old geese seems to be constipated - it looks like he keeps straining to poop but can’t. I haven’t really seen any other signs of discomfort and he seems to still be eating and drinking but I want to check just incase.
I don’t have an avian vet by me that can handle this sadly so I’m going to have to see if I can help him myself.
Earlier he strained and it looked like a bit of liquidy poop came out, but then continued straining so I think there may be a serious blockage.
There seems to be a lobe that extends up to his rear end unevenly which looks pretty bad. He’s known for being a greedy goose so I’m worried he’s swallowed something large and it’s stuck there somewhere…
