I have a 2.5yo ISA brown who I suspect has an infection. She has laid a couple of lash eggs in the past few weeks, along with some soft shell/broken eggs. And then other days no eggs at all (which is not like her at all, she’s a 1-egg-per-day lady and always has been).
She’s otherwise her usual self, strong red comb and wattles, free ranging happily. Only other thing I’ve noticed is she has been flicking her head a lot (like as if she has water on her beak or something). It makes me wonder if maybe there’s mucus or something in her nose but she doesn’t let me get close enough to have a good look at her head.
Vet is not an option for me unfortunately. Has anyone successfully treated lash egg and can offer any advice?
I’m also in Australia and it has recently become hot hot summer here.
