I am new to raising chickens and keep happening on this site when looking for advice. I just got my first 4 chickens in June!
I have barred rocks and black copper marans
Unfortunately for my beginners luck I ended up with 3 roos and one hen - currently trying to figure out how to introduce new hens with only 1 month to colder weather!

Glad to meet you ChelleyRay. That's too bad about the extra roosters. The best options for finding good homes for roosters seem to be your local Craigslist, and if you have a local Facebook Poultry group, post to both. And you can always post to your local thread here. Try to add the best glamor shot you can get of the boys, and any info to make them more attractive: breed, where you got them, are they gentle, etc. Best wishes!
