Hello All!
We are the Perkins Farm, which constitutes 2 retirees and our 17 happy backyard chickens. (Not to mention 3 chihuahuas and 3 indoor cats) My name is Kristin and my husband’s name is Brad. We are new to chickens as of Spring of 2022. Started with 8 chicks and that whole chicken math thing happened (yes, it is real)! We are located in the northern panhandle of Idaho. My husband built an amazing coop this summer as the chicks were growing. We now have a variety of ages in our flock as we have rescued a few older hens and added older chicks along the way. We also have a variety of breeds, from a Comet (biggest eggs I have ever seen), a few Plymouths, Orpingtons (including our English who is gigantic), Brahmas, and our little Bantams (including one showgirl). They are all loved and spoiled. I look forward to learning and growing with all of you. Best Wishes!
