I also have a Doberman, She is a 4 yr black/Rust Euro and her name is Athena. We recently lost our 11 yr old Dobie Sydney. I was raised with Dobie's and so we raised our children with them as well. Athena loves hanging out with the chickens, of course she never goes in the run but she has helped me herd them back in the run before.
Bella is my first European Doberman. She was flown to the States from Serbia. She is number 6 in the line of Dobermans I've adopted. I got her when she was just over 4 years old. She is hands down the sweetest Doberman I have ever known! She has been helping me raise my Miniature Pinscher puppy and the two of them are the very best of friends.

so sweet!! Im tyring to get my husband to let me get another Dobie but he says hes not ready yet. We were all very attached to Sydney she lived longer than any of our other dobermans and we raised all of our children with her. We love Athena she is such a great dog but she was also raised by Sydney.

Maybe he'll consider a Min Pin! At least the food bill is lower. I don't think I'll ever have a single dog again after watching the dynamics of two dogs that are bonded. There's just nothing quite like that.
