Hi, everyone. I have been raising chickens about 4 years or longer. We have moved into a new place, and I just purchased new chicks 2/22. I can hardly wait until it's time to move them into their coop. It has turned off cold again here in Kentucky, so we are going to delay putting them out for a while. Hopefully it will warm up by the first week of April. I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow chicken people.

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
If you can get power to the coop for a brooder plate the chicks would do absolutely great out in the coop now as long as it is draft free.
