Hello everyone, just getting back into raising chickens, moved to town a few years ago and decided to try raising chickens in town. So scaling back from an acreage in the mountains to a backyard. I kept my bees when I moved so that’s going well but had to get rid of pack goats. So on a whim today I got a dozen new chicks from tractor supply americaunas, buffs, welsummers, Andalusians, and golden sex links. So we’ll see what challenges arise this summer once they are old enough to be outside.

Congratulations on having chickens again! Hope they do well as "city birds."

It's always a plus when someone with poultry experience joins the group and can both give and get advice.

Welcome to BYC and best wishes with your little fuzzballs! Please keep us updated as the little ones grow up and move out.
