Hi. From western Michigan. Inherited 2 older laying chickens and a coop when we purchased a fixer upper home. Want to learn how to take care of them. They seem happy right now. Previous owner left us with water container, the covered coop and run and suggestion for food to feed them. Want to have someone to ask if we run into any issues.

I would feed them Flock Raiser, All Flock or chick starter crumble (UN-medicated) with a container of oyster shell on the side for free feeding.

Just saying Hi and how cool that your property came with chickens. I'm pretty new to it myself so I'm not a whole lot of help..but there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people on here.
