(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chickens as a child - and before we had kids some came with our home but they passed away and 12 years later our kids are a bit bigger so we decided to get some new chicks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 9 chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
4 Easter egger (I think 2 are welsummer x Australian version araucana and two are light Sussex x araucana)
2 Australian version of araucana
1 light sussex
1 polish
1 cooper maran
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are so relaxing and calming to watch.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, baking, I used to exercise a lot but not so much lately.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
3 kids , husband, working in finance part time

I’m keen for the help of this community - I have found many helpful posts here already.
