Hi there, i',m Sue a new member.
I'm 46, first kept chickens as a child as pets. I had several years living where I could not keep any but a few years back I felt the urge again and started with a few rescue hens before starting incubating my own, which is an addiction I find. You àlmost become obsessed.
Today is Easter Sunday and I have become a chick mummy again with my first Speckled Sussex egg hatching a few minutes ago.
I know the basics and have ideas but I think keeping chickens is always a learning process and.nobody knows it all so these sites are wonderful at bringing everyone's knowledge, opinions and ideas together.
