As of right now I'm trying to incubate a chicken egg I found not sure if it was ever fertilized at this point or if it's alive so I came here. Hopefully I can try again if this one doesn't work out but I refuse to get rid of it until I know it's no good. So here I am!!

If your egg does hatch @Ash15171717 you might like to get the chick some friends of the same age as they don't do well on their own. Are you all set up with an incubator?

Around day 4 or 5, if you take the egg into a dark room and shine a flashlight into the big end of the egg, you should see veins. If nothing by day 6, then its probably not fertilized.
