Hiya Wanda, and welcome to BYC!! :frow

It depends on where you are and the type of chickens, but to give you an idea, I have 3 silkies 10 weeks old that have lived outside for two weeks. Lows have been in the 20F's, highs at best in the 30s. They have a 3' x 3' hutch attached to a large pen. In the hutch is a cozy coop radiant heater. They snuggle up to that at night, but by day, they run around in the pen. It's covered so still has some dead grass vs. the snow around it. Every hour or two, they go back to the hutch to warm up, then out they come again.

You should be able to move them out to the coop as long as it's not too drafty but do use ventilation in the eaves. Take your heat source outside with them, they can use it if needed or not. They might surprise you and may not need as much heat in a few days after moving outside.
