When we moved on to more expensive hatching eggs, we decided to buy a incubator. Our homemade one worked but, having everything automatic is much better.

Agree, but so many folks make their own which is so much cheaper. However, I'm forgetful so I'm glad to have at least one of the two that just takes care of everything!
