It was a rather cheap, simple one reusing a styrofoam cooler that a ham was delivered in. I used a outdoor light socket and hooked it to a electric hot water heater thermostat. Of course, they are discontinuing the regular light bulbs like we used. But, I guess a heat light bulb, like for a reptile enclosure would also work. I followed instructions from a diagram I saw online on how to hook up the light and thermometer correctly.
Agree, but so many folks make their own which is so much cheaper. However, I'm forgetful so I'm glad to have at least one of the two that just takes care of everything!
