:frow Welcome from New Orleans. I am so glad you decided to join. Lots of people use incubators and can probably give you some good advice on different models. Some of us (like me), use broody hens. I too am surprised that none of your girls went broody, they may just need more time. I find broodies are the easiest to use, I guess because, not all hens have had the broodiness bred out of them. If they go broody for you, you have a ready made chicken nanny, who will teach them everything they need to know as a chicken. Whichever method you choose, hatching chicks is great fun and educational. Especially to kids who are not farm kids. My granddaughter loves to feed the chickens and collect eggs. She also loves eating an egg she just got out of the coop. :love

Regardless of what you decide, I hope you enjoy hatching chicks. Start a thread of your own so that you can get some information about incubators ahead of time and possibly join the Easter hatch along.
